excerpt from their newsletter:
"As you may have heard, Diamond Comics has decided that in the last week in December this year, there will be very few new comic books shipping from major publishers to comic book stores across America. As a result, the Source has decided to take this opportunity to showcase and promote local/regional Independent & Alternative Comic Books and Cartoonists. That is to say we plan on using our entire new comic book rack to feature their works for the entire week of December 28-January 3."
Henceforth you get INDYWEEK!
and copies of GREYDUCK: volume of roars (including squished penny exclusive) will be waiting for you...
thanks to all that came to visit me at FALLCON. GREYDUCK did well, always good to get input on the book and meet lotsa' crazy people. Would've been nice if it wasn't so cold, but at least I wasn't the one dressed as the hulk (nuthin but green paint and shorts- hat's off to ya).
I'll be doctoring and posting some of the sketches I did at the table(on deviantart), but here's a sample...

Hey yall, just a reminder that I will be appearing at the MCBA fallcon again this year at the MN state fairgrounds (Oct 10-11th). Always a great time, run by people who actually give a crap about the medium and the people involved! Come an git' yer autographed copies of GREYDUCK:volume of roars and one of the remaining GREYDUCK 3D poster if you haven't gotten around to it yet...

Finally finished/mounted the specimen(leg segment) from the GREYDUCK creature. Measuring just over 6 1/2 feet long, and maybe just too big to bring to GFEST in Chicago >:c
check out the other pictures and detail shots on my Deviantart page as well as the 'extras' section of the GREYDUCK site (click on their respective icons to the right)
as an added treat, check this yokel action out...
been working on a prop limb as if I were the effects team on a b-movie version of my book GREYDUCK:volume of roars (click on the link on the right for more info). Been working off and on towards completing it for almost as long as I was working on the book- It helped me keep GREYDUCK's anatomy solid in my head as I translated everything from my warped little brain to paper. Now, as I look ahead to GFEST 09' (first reveal of the book to much of the core kaiju fanbase) I'm trying to put the finishing effects on it and make it part of my display at the table.
still needs some polish and some scales and such, but here's the work-in-progress...
